Hi I am the owner and operator of Caterpillars to Butterflies, since November 2017. I have both experience and passion for childcare. Previously
I owned another childcare facility on the North Shore and am proud of the results that I achieved during the 4 years there.
​I am currently completing a post graduate degree in Education which will be completed by the end of 2019. I have also worked as an account manager and in customer service.

My family is 2 boys and my husband Luke. In my spare time we love to go camping, I also enjoy exercise and spending time with my extended family which includes 13 nephews and nieces!

Hi everyone! I am a fully registered teacher and primary school teacher. I have been in the early childhood profession for 10 years now. I enjoy reading and learning. I love to explore new ideas and educational philosophies on how it affects children's learning.

​I have four grown up children and two beautiful grandchildren. I also enjoy kayak fishing and cooking for my family.
​I am looking forward to working with you all at Caterpillars to Butterflies.

My name is Gemma McLean. I am a teacher in the preschool room. I have over 10 years experience in childcare teaching. I graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Education Early Years.

​I love sports and children. I am passionate about teaching and I am currently working through my provisional registration. 

Kia Ora, my name is Ruth and I work as a teacher in the Preschool room. I have been with this centre since it opened in 2008. I obtained my Diploma for Early childhood and hold a current teacher full registration. 

​I am married to Phil and we have two boys, Hayden and Ethan. I love spending time with my family.

I am a fully registered teacher and have been teaching in early childhood for forty years in both state and private kindergarten. I also taught in South East Asia in an international school. I enjoy working with preschool children and see them grow and learn.

My husband is also an educator. I also have a son and daughter. I am looking forward to getting to know your child.

Ki Ora, I am Nakia and I work in the infants and toddlers area since December 2014 starting as a student teachers. I am currently on my third year of training.

I have recently discovered my passion for travel. I have already been to Europe and have many more exciting trips planned.

Hi my name is Kylie. I am unqualified teachers assistant. Before working here full time, I was a regular reliever for three years.

I love working with young children. It has been my dream job since I was a little girl. I have now decided to take on becoming an early childhood educator and would soon start my training.

I am married and blessed with two children. My family and I come from the Philippines and we have been living in New Zealand for more than 11 years.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, major in Advertising, from Manila and also took up Diploma in ECE Pasifika Level 5. My experience working with the under two's is a great opportunity for me as I witness each child's growth and learning development through his/her behaviour and interests.

Kia Ora, my name is Gigi. I am from Hong Kong. I have been in New Zealand since 2003. I have been working at this centre since 2012 and now am a reliever teacher. I h0ld a graduate diploma in ECE and with full teacher registration.

​I am a mother of two children. I love swimming, reading and travelling. I also love to spend time with my children, exploring new places, playing games, watching movies, dancing etc.

I have been working with children on the floor and in the kitchen for thirteen years. I love preparing healthy meals for the children.

I enjoy travelling with my family and sail on our yacht. I also have a passion for cake decorating. I so pleased to be a part of the Caterpillars to Butterflies family.
